For Sale Short Fiction Poetry

It wasn’t until college that Louie caught the writing bug, beginning with a foray into the world of standup comedy. He wrote over twenty original humorous (and highly inappropriate) songs, which he performed on and off his college campus during his undergraduate years. This creativity bled into his coursework and led him into the world of creative writing.
His first, and only, published novel is titled A Couple of Unorthodox Love Affairs and was self-published in 2010. It follows Phil, a man who becomes obsessed with serial killers. As he drifts further away from his friends, his job, and his family, his wife Tara finds unconventional—yet darkly creative—ways to win back his heart. It has recently earned a five-star review on Readers' Favorite.
Louie is currently working on several upcoming projects, including a second novel entitled The Most Recent Testament (comedy/satire) and a third, untitled novel-length work.
Apart from his novel and the samples on this website, Louie has had stories appear in Chicago Literati, neutrons protons, and Berkeley Fiction Review #34 in 2014. He also wrote the title story in a collection of short fiction called The Landing and Other Short Stories (available on Amazon.com). Most recently, his work was featured in The Dirty GRE, a "word building" book that takes GRE-level language and puts them into the context of funny, filthy fiction.
His main influences are Kurt Vonnegut, Christopher Moore, Chuck Palahniuk, Mark Twain, Larry David, Edgar Allan Poe, and David Lynch.
