Failures and Successes!

In a semester filled with growth, stress, and wonderful experiences, I would like to take the time to share the publications that have denied my work. This is not to disparage them, as I wouldn't have submitted my stories if my respect for them was not high; rather, I would like to share the journals and magazines that I'm attempting to publish in. If you have any suggestions, do let me know!

Most of these publications are strictly sci-fi, so my stories were long shots. However, I have re-submitted to The Kenyon Review and to McSweeney's -- and will continue to do so until I achieve success!

On a positive note, my novel, A Couple of Unorthodox Love Affairs, has made it to the second round in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Contest. Out of roughly 10,000 entries, I have been selected as one of the final 375. Here's to hoping it advances into the semi-finals, announced soon!
