It's not that I forgot about my website; nor is it that my website is of any less importance to me now than when it began; the lack of updates has simply been an issue of time.
This semester I am taking 12 credits in my program at SDSU, working full-time (as always) as a teacher/Dean of Students, and attempting to have a modicum of social pleasure. Therefore, the website has been relegated to a lower rung on the ladder of my priorities. I have, however, reignited my minor efforts at publication. I have sent four stories into Berkeley Fiction Review for consideration ("The Only Thing We Can Count On Anymore," "The Pedagogy of Pleasure," and "Correspondence" all available on this site. One other is still unavailable at this time.). I have also submitted five short shorts to a Sudden Fiction contest through Berkeley Fiction Review ("Plain Sight," "The Grown-Up," "You Can Sleep With Me," "A Shooting or Fallen Star," all available here, and "The Boy Who Invented the Blowjob," unavailable at this time.). These endeavors have occupied my time productively. Having said that, I hope you enjoy the updates! I have added two poems (both "prose poems") as well as four short stories (three of which are classified as "short shorts," "flash fiction," or even "microfiction"). Give them a read, post comments, and follow me on Twitter or Facebook! Peace, Louie
