2011 Goals...

First and foremost, Happy New Year to all! Apart from a complete stranger vomiting all over my couch and carpet roughly 2 hours after midnight, 2011 is off to a pleasant start. I spent the day cleaning, relaxing, and watching Chicago for the first time. Catherine Zeta-Jones, if you ever read this, I am in love with you. There, I said it.

As for 2011, I have a few goals related to my literature. In 2010 I published my debut novel, "A Couple of Unorthodox Love Affairs," and two pieces of short prose, "Correspondence" and "The Pedagogy of Pleasure." I consider these to be wonderful accomplishments in my initial efforts toward becoming a legitimate author. My goals for 2011 are as follows:

1) To enter my debut novel into - and win - at least one fiction contest.

2) To publish at least 5 more works (short prose/poetry).

3) To complete and/or publish my second novel, title TBA.

If I am able to accomplish these three goals, I will consider 2011 to be a huge step forward in my career ambitions. With your guys' support, I have a chance to make this happen. Keep reading my stuff, keep telling friends to visit my website, and keep buying my novel!
